The first exhibition room serves as the starting point for the exploration, offering a fascinating journey through the history of the General House – the church and monastery on Via San Sebastianello in Rome. The central element of the hall is a layout of the complex, highlighting key areas and artworks within the church and monastery. On the left side of the entrance, in the form of wallpaper, there is a photograph depicting the area adjacent to the monastery’s cloister, specifically the workshop of Oskar Sosnowski.
This exhibition room, acting as a sort of introduction, has been specially adapted for multimedia presentations. To further immerse visitors in history, a projector and screen are installed, allowing to watch a film dedicated to the history of the Congregation of the Resurrection. This interactive experience enhances the visit, enabling a better understanding and appreciation of the rich history of this place.
